My name is Saga and I am a conference interpreter. I work with Spanish (A), French (B) and English (C). In other words, I interpret from Spanish into French and vice versa, and from English into Spanish.
I took the Master’s degree in Conference Interpreting at the University of La Laguna which belongs to the EMCI consortium. As a freelancer, I work for different clients and interpret during meetings on a wide range of topics…
Currently I live in Madrid, but I work remotely for many of my clients and I can also travel if the job requires it.

It is often referred to as "simultaneous translation". However, the terms interpretation and translation are used respectively to differentiate the work with spoken word and with written texts.

In this case the interpreter does not reproduce the speech while the speaker is talking. Instead, they wait until the speaker has finished.

This type of interpretation is used when an easy, agile communication is needed between two people or two groups of people who don't speak the same language.
